Chilli and Garlic King Prawns

Helloooo, another quick and easy recipe for you and this has to be one of my absolute FAVE dishes. Perfect as a snack or as part of a tapas evening it’s super quick and easy to make.


  • 1 red chilli
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • Olive oil
  • Raw King prawns



  1. Finely chop the red chilli and crush the garlic using a garlic crusher or finely chop
  2. Heat the oil in the pan on a high heat until hot, then add the chilli and garlic and fry off for a minute or so
  3. Add the prawns and fry for a further 3-4 minutes until the prawns are pink and cooked through and starting to golden

It is literally as simple as that! I am obsessed with using home grown produce at the moment so used a chilli grown in my garden as well as sprinkling of chopped home grown parsley over the top to finish. I really recommend starting your own herb garden if you can! I think you can even grow some indoors if you don’t have a garden. It works out a lot cheaper in the long run and you have a endless supply of fresh herbs to spruce up dishes!
